Yosemite Snowshoeing: Winter Hike to Dewey Point - Best Views in Yosemite?
180The beautiful thing about Yosemite in the winter is that it offers some of the most spectacular winter snowshoeing trails. Whereas Glacier Point Road is usually heavily trafficked during the summer months, during the winter, the park closes vehicle access and turns it into a snowshoeing and cross country skiing trail. We took advantage of this Yosemite snowshoeing trail and opted to do a winter hike via the Ridge/Meadow Loop Trail to Dewey Point. And WOW, this trail did NOT disappoint.
