193The Guild 3 continues and we work our very hardest (well, our businesses do...) to earn ourselves enough money to become Counts! It's a huge investment, requiring one-hundred and sixty thousand moneys, but it's the next big step up the social ladder.
However, as often happens, I find some other ways to spend our money! We speculate to accumulate and decide to upgrade some of our skills to their final levels. Baker level four means we can make small cakes of joy, medicine level four means we can make plague attire, and our other skill improvements lead to more and more items we can produce.
There's a very dramatic chase and fight scene, which, whilst exciting, does reinforce the point that maybe we need to arm our dynasty members a bit better now.
There's a spate of worker deaths as some of our older employees pass away, so we have to replace them and either give them grindstones if they're a worker or kit them out with full transporter stuff if they're a transporter.
Also we welcome MaltedMilk back to Visby, there's a little bit of plague going round and there's quite a lot of unpleasant crime going on.

We find ourselves in middle Europe of the year 1400. The dark middle ages, once dominated through nobles and clergy, ends and a new era begins: the age of the free cities of trading and of the free mind!
In The Guild 3 you create a family dynasty which can last for centuries. While the world around you and your dynasty rearrange itself again and again - all non-player figures make their own decisions - you have to prove your skills in handicrafts and trading, at social occasion and finally in politics and in malicious intrigues.
The Guild 3 is a unique mixture of economic simulation, strategy game, historical life simulation and role playing game in real time 3D, with atmospheric voice recording and medieval soundtrack.
The game is currently in Early Access and therefore in development. It will be regularly updated, so if you are looking for information regarding the current state please check-out the game's community hub and latest patch notes.
