Even though the official release for the hardcore mode for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, there is already a mod on the Nexus that simulates the hardcore mode. This includes the reduced HUD, debuff perks, no directional attack indicators and no fast traveling. There are a few more changes that I go into more detail in the video. This mod can also be added or removed at anytime in a playthrough making it easy to test out.
