With the recent linear fusion rifle changes upcoming in Lightfall I decided to breakdown the pre-nerf and post-nerf dmg values prior to Lightfall.

If you’re unaware of the upcoming changes Linears are getting:

• 15% Damage Nerf
• Veist Stinger (Origin Trait) to refund ~25% of the magazine

I decided to conduct these tests to show you how hard the nerf will hit both Cataclysmic + Reeds (probably two of the best Linears)

So if you have the materials I highly suggest crafting a good Cataclysmic before Lightfall.

However, Reeds is still a solid contender for single damage weapon. If you do not have Reeds then you can craft a Taipan which is very similar.
