You looked up at the night sky, taking in the beauty of the moon and the pine trees that stretched up towards it. The cold snow crunched beneath you as you shifted slightly, trying to get comfortable.
You closed your eyes and took a deep breath, feeling the crisp, clean air fill your lungs. You had been through so much, but you were still alive. And for that, you were grateful.
As you lay there, you thought about the struggles you had faced on your journey. You had been injured, and the cold had made it difficult to heal. You had run out of food and water, and had been forced to scavenge for scraps just to survive. And the isolation and fear had weighed heavily on your mind, making it hard to think straight.
