YouTube's Copyright System Is Still Broken In 2021 - A Haven For Abusers, Imposters And Extorters
Since its creation, YouTube underwent many changes but if there is anything that remained the same and even became worse in some aspects, it is YouTube's broken copyright system.
YouTube's copyright system still remains a haven for the likes of abusers, imposters, and extorters as the system does absolutely nothing to make it more balanced and equal.
The uploader is automatically presumed guilty the moment someone submits a takedown notice.
Now, I understand YouTube has to oblige DMCA law but there is no law that states uploaders must be restricted from further uploading until the strikes are resolved.
This is purely their own rule and not a DMCA law.
It also appears that YouTube is no longer requiring takedown notices to be submitted from corporate email if the claimant introduces himself as a company, and it appears that there is no penalty for them if it is proven that their takedown notice was falsified.
In this video, I will discuss all of the problems related to YouTube's copyright system and how a few changes would make everything more fair for everyone.
