YouTube's Update To Terms of Service & It Is TRASH! EVERYONE'S MAD & RIGHTFULLY SO!
40This quite honestly may be the worst YouTube Update we have ever got! This update to the Terms of Service is naturally not only hard to understand due to wording and vagueness but we also see news that keeps on shafting their own creators! IT WOULD APPEAR that videos that show the faces of other individuals that don’t have permission are against TOS. So videos like vlogs, gym videos or videos that critique the actions of another person/people, if those videos show faces of someone that didn’t give permission, your videos could be nuked from your channel due to these new updates. Perhaps the biggest thing out of this however is the part where YouTube says they will be placing ads on videos that are NOT monetized under the YouTube Partner Program! This is legitimately a slap in the face to every creator out there! This basically means that anyone who isn’t in the YPP and they see ads on their videos, that is YOUTUBE’S doing and THEY make bank off YOUR content! There’s a lot to unpack and it’s a bunch of BS!
