While I grind for the remaining cards in Sports Superstars, I wanted to upload this Playthrough. My old Playthrough for this game was alright, but I never got to show off a run of the game as Imajin, Mama, or Papa. I played as Lina for the entire game.

Everyone knows the tale about how this became Super Mario Bros. 2 in America at this point, but I think the really interesting thing about this game is that it was originally used to promote a huge event in Japan known as Yume Kōjō. The mascots for this event were the family that you play as in this game. There's Imajin (whose name means "Imagine"), Lina (Imajin's girlfriend), Mama, and Papa. A lot of the game's enemies and settings are based on different areas of the world, which is what the Yume Kōjō event was all about. For example, the masks that you can toss at enemies are based on Italian festival masks. I always found it really interesting how this game is essentially a blend of multiple cultures.

Anyways, this part will show the entire game as Imajin. I haven't played DDP/SMB2 in years, so I'm kind of rusty.
