Zaxxon 3D (with FM Sound) - 1987 - Master System | Shortplay
Zaxxon 3D (ザクソン 3D) is a shoot-'em-up developed and published by Sega for the Sega Master System. The game requires the use of the 3-D Glasses to create an illusion of depth. Zaxxon 3D is a sequel to the arcade game Zaxxon. Unlike the original game, which was isometric, Zaxxon 3D is viewed from behind the player's ship, with the enemy ships approaching from the distance. This perspective makes effective use of the 3D effect, since it is easier to judge the distance of an enemy with depth perception.
GAME RECORDING INFO:
The game was scaled to 4k, without bi-linear filtering, and retaining the original aspect ratio (screen ratio, not the internal resolution). I also use a shader that simulates a CRT Monitor with a S-Video filter signal, and over it i created a a 3d image of a game room with a TV from the 80s, to create a nostalgic atmosphere.
