Spider-Man vs. the Kingpin - 1991 - Master System | Shortplay
Spider-Man vs. The Kingpin, commonly referred to as just Spider-Man, is a platform video game based on the Marvel comic book series Spider-Man, released for the Sega Master System and Sega Game Gear in 1991 and 1992 respectively. The game is an action platformer played as the superhero Spider-Man, who fights criminals and negotiates obstacles while searching for the keys necessary to defuse the bomb, within a time limit of 24 hours. While having inferior in-game graphics compared to its 16-bit counterpart, the 8-bit version has panel illustrations as cutscenes in between stages. This version of the game is infamous for its high difficulty, even on the easiest setting.
GAME RECORDING INFO:
The game was scaled to 4k, without bi-linear filtering, and retaining the original aspect ratio (screen ratio, not the internal resolution). I also use a shader that simulates a CRT Monitor with a S-Video filter signal, and over it i created a a 3d image of a game room with a TV from the 80s, to create a nostalgic atmosphere.
