Alien vs. Predator 3D was a 2006 rail shooter video game developed and published by Superscape for BREW. It was based on the film of the same name.

Earlier in 2004 Superscape published a 2D version of this shooter, which was a side scrolling platformer.

From the technical point of view it is well made, taking into the account the challenge to cram the 3D visuals in the tiny space available and to be able to play on a phone of the era.

However, from the point of view of game play, it is subpar to e.g. the PC or console version and to other mobile games which Superscape released at that time. Just take a look at Kingdom Hearts V-Cast, which is a lot better. On the other hand it uses a later version of the Swerve engine.

The game was intended for 176x220 screens, I don't even know from which phone it came.

You may see from my other playlist, that Superscape also had a slightly better version, with in-game music, better sounds, and slightly different UI.

Making this video was a bit of a chore. The controls got stuck several times, and I had to replay levels due to dying. I had to cut in the briefings from the mobile phone, otherwise they were unreadable on the big screen.

I will later make a footage of the two remaining levels.
