Jaws was demonstrated by Superscape at CTIA 2005 and released for the supported handsets around 2005-2006 through Verizon's V-Cast service.

The play mechanics of Jaws roughly follows the one of the NES version by LJN, although taking advantage of the Superscape's own Swerve 3D engine.

"Protected by a cage -- which can be broken open by repeated shark attacks -- you are lowered under the blue with nothing but a harpoon gun. You can spy the silvery outlines of sharks in the distance, but you must wait until they get close enough that you can accurately shoot them. Every shark you slay adds to your purse, which can later be emptied at Quint's on the dock. Quint will hook you up with extra gear like tranquilizer spears, mines, and a stronger cage." (quoted from IGN article).

The exit screen advertises the game Jaws Unleashed released around the same time for the consoles and PC. However, the latter lets you play as the shark and not as the diver.

This specific version comes from LG VX8100 phone.
