Trying to find the 5 Golden Leaves in Link's awakening had me confused for a good little bit. In this video I will show you everything you need to be able to get into Castle and the 5 golden leaves.

Step 1:
Buy a shovel and some bombs from the main village. Bombs will only cost 10 rupees and the shovel will cost 200 rupees.

Step 2:
Complete the trade quest to get Bananas
1.Obtain the Yoshi Doll from from the crane game
2. Take the Yoshi Doll to Papahl’s House in Mabe Village to receive the Ribbon
3. Take the Ribbon to the chomp's house house in Mabe Village to get the Dog Food
4. Take the Dog Food to Sale’s Banana Shop in Toronbo Shores to get a Banana

Step 3:
Find Richard in the South East (seen in the video) and he will tell you to find 5 golden leaves

Step 4:
Take bananas to the money on the right side of Kanalet Castle.

Step 5:
Find the 5 golden leaves:
1. defeat the enemy in the holes on the right side of the caste
2. throw a rock at the bird on the left side of the castle
3 enter the castle and defeat all the enemies in the first room
4. Use a bomb on in the cracks in the wall in the next room
5. defeat the mini boss at the end of the castle

After that you will want to return to Richard and explore his back yard.
