Previously, Link explored the Dragon Roost Cavern. He acquired the Grappling Hook, defeated Gohma, and earned Din's Pearl. Now, he will sail on from Dragon Roost Island.
Dragon Roost Island:
Link resumes on the shore of Dragon Roost Island. He talks to the King of Red Lions for some dialogue. Their next destination is to the south. Link must use the song learned at the Wind God's Shrine to shift the winds.
Link uses the Wind Waker to conduct the Wind's Requiem. He changes the wind to blow south.
Link talks to the King of Red Lions again and then climbs aboard. He sets sail southwards.
He has barely set out when a Fishman hails him. The Fishman draws in Dragon Roost Island on the current square of Link's Sea Chart. He also proves a hint about a cave on the backside of the island.
With this, Link shifts the wind to blow west and sets sail towards Windfall Island again.
Pawprint Isle (time 5:25):
While passing through Pawprint Isle's square, Link baits the Fishman to update his Sea Chart. Then, he continues west to Windfall Island.
Windfall Island (time 8:23):
Off the coast of Windfall, Link baits the Fishman for information about the island. The Fishman's hint is exactly why Link is here.
Link sets the wind to blow east. Then he docks at Windfall Island.
He goes to the grave on the western cape and talks to Tott, the dancing fool. Then, he shows Tott the Wind Waker for a scene. Tott's gestures indicate conducting right, left, and down in 3/4 time. When Link does so, he learns the Song of Passing. He can conduct this to advance time to the upcoming night or day.
Afterwards, Link conducts the Song of Passing to advance to nighttime. He also takes a picture of Tott with the Deluxe Picto Box.
Link has sorted 25 pieces of mail for Baito, the new part-time employee at the Mail Center, and sent his Note to Mom. It is now time to collect his reward. He examines the moving red postbox and acquires a letter from Kashiko, Baito's mother. She rewards him with Piece of Heart #05!
Link conducts the Song of Passing to advance to morning. Then, he boards the King of Red Lions and sets sail for Dragon Roost Island once again. He does nothing of note as he goes past Pawprint Isle.
Dragon Roost Island (time 17:03):
Link conducts the Wind's Requiem to make the wind blow south. Then, he turns south himself and continues to the next square.
Fire Mountain (time 17:37):
Link baits the local Fishman for a map and information about Fire Mountain. The Fishman's information is about how to get onto the island. Afterwards, Link continues south.
Eastern Triangle Island (time 20:22):
Link baits the local Fishman for Eastern Triangle Island's map and information about an available bottle. Handy! Link continues south after this tip.
Bomb Island (time 22:54):
Link baits the local Fishman for a map and information about Bomb Island. The info sounds spooky!
Link advances to daytime with the Song of Passing. A short way southwest of Bomb Island, Link finds a small wooden submarine in the same square. He climbs aboard and takes out the crew, two Bokoblins and a Green Bokoblin. Once they have been defeated, a chest appears. Link opens it to acquire Bottle #2! That is sure to be handy.
Leaving the submarine, Link boards the King of Red Lions and continues south.
Forest Haven (time 28:01):
A scene takes place as Link approaches his next destination, the Forest Haven. Link must visit the Great Deku Tree and acquire Farore's Pearl.
Before exploring the island itself, Link baits the local Fishman for a map of the Forest Haven and information about Bomb Island. He also visits Tingle's Shop Ship and picks up some All-Purpose Bait and a Hyoi Pear.
Afterwards, Link begins exploring the main island of the Forest Haven. There are Boko Babas ahead. Link can use his Grappling Hook on them to acquire Boko Baba Seeds. He will soon find a shop that can make good use of these.
When he grapples past the first waterfall, he will find an Octorok in the water. He just has to bounce the Octorok's rock back at it with his shield to defeat it.
After grappling past the second waterfall, Link finds an opening in the southeast of the island. It leads him into the Great Deku Tree's grove.
However, as Link approaches the Great Deku Tree, he finds that the tree is infested With Red and Green ChuChus! Link must defeat all these annoying enemies. Green ChuChus drop Green Chu Jelly.
After Link has disposed of all the ChuChus, a scene with the Great Deku Tree takes place. He introduces Link to the Koroks. Unfortunately, Makar the Korok is in danger in the Forbidden Woods! The Great Deku Tree grows a special leaf that Link must acquire and use to reach the Forbidden Woods.
The description is continued in the comments.
