Previously, Link explored the darkened cave in the southwest of Lake Hylia, and he helped fund repairs to the bridge from east Castle Town to Hyrule Field in the Eldin Province. Now, he will continue his Poe hunting at night.

To start, he warps to Upper Zora's River in Lanayru Province (time 0:23). He finds a Poe on the southern ledge (time 1:05). Defeating it, he bags Poe's Soul #21.

Then, he heads into Zora's Domain (time 1:45). After following the western path and then Midna-jumping a couple of times, he finds a Poe on the northern ledge behind the waterfall. Defeating it, he nabs Poe's Soul #22 (time 2:16).

Another Poe is on the eastern ledge (time 2:56). When he defeats it, he gets Poe's Soul #23.

Then, Link warps to Lake Hylia (time 3:31).

Past the darkened cave, he finds a Poe near the observation tower on the western hill (time 4:31). He defeats it for Poe's Soul #24. He returns to the Lake Hylia warp point.

On the southern ledge, he finds another Poe (time 5:32). After beating it, he gets Poe's Soul #25. He again returns to the Lake Hylia warp point.

Link finds another Poe on the eastern shore (time 7:00). Defeating it, he gets Poe's Soul #26.

Next, he gets Fyer to shoot him up to Falbi's Flight-by-Fowl (time 8:08). Then, he pays Falbi to let him float down with a Cucco (time 9:11). Rather than going down to the Isle of Riches, Link makes a hard U-turn and goes down to a northwestern ledge.

The northwestern ledge is home to a Poe (time 10:03). Beating it, Link gets Poe's Soul #27.

Also, Link digs down into a grotto underneath the Poe (time 10:36). In this grotto, there is a pool with four Shellblades. Link can easily defeat them with Water Bombs. The Shellblades will ingest the Water Bombs, which will give them fatal indigestion.

After defeating them, Link can claim a chest with an Orange Rupee, worth 100 R (time 12:21). The pots also contain arrows, in case Link needs them.

Link warps back to Lake Hylia (time 12:58). After getting Fyered up to Falbi's again, he begins another Flight by Fowl (time 14:37). He goes down to the Isle of Riches and successfully lands on the top, rotating platform.

On the top, rotating platform, he finds a chest containing an Orange Rupee, worth 100 R (time 15:36). More money to donate!

The second level of the platform is another Poe's habitat (time 15:56). Defeating it, Link acquires Poe's Soul #28.

Then, Link warps to Castle Town (time 16:23). He zips through Castle Town and emerges in Hyrule Field to the south (time 17:22). He finds his next Poe hovering above the western stairway (time 17:35). After defeating it, he gets Poe's Soul #29. Just in time for dawn!

Along the road to the south, he chats with the Goron (time 18:31). The Goron has finished clearing the pass to Faron Province. Yay! But this might've been more useful some time ago.

Link heads back into Castle Town (time 19:11). Then, he heads downstairs and into Telma's Bar (time 19:27). Telma introduces him to three of her friends. She has a fourth friend, Auru, who is currently investigating the western desert. Link talks with Telma's friends: a scholar named Shad, a warrior named Ashei, and ... a very familiar face from the beginning of the game.

To learn Auru's location, Link can examine the map on the table (time 25:07). He is currently in the southwest of Lake Hylia.

Link warps to Lake Hylia (time 25:36). There is an observation tower on the southwestern hill west of the darkened cave. There, he finds Auru (time 27:13). Auru explains that Gerudo Desert to the west was once home to a prison. Apparently, a cursed mirror was used to send those sentenced to death directly to the underworld. Cursed mirror ... sounds like what Midna is seeking. When Link answers that yes, he plans to go there, Auru gives him Auru's Memo. Link must take the memo to Fyer.

Before signing off, Link returns to Kakariko Village (time 29:47). At Malo Mart, he makes a donation of 200 Rupees to the Goron (time 30:37). Because he has restored the bridge east of Castle Town and delivered hot springwater to the old Goron's son there, this achieves the financial objective of opening a Malo Mart shop in Castle Town. The new shop will get opened up quickly, but Link doesn't have the needed Rupees yet.

Link warps back to Lake Hylia (time 31:35). Next time, Link will get Fyered up to Gerudo Desert.
