Previously, Davilas carried out the Level 35 and 40 Sage quests, Quests 185 and 186. Now, he will continue the Sage quest line.

After hiring his party, checking his mail, and putting his gold profits in the bank, he heads into Doruwaamu Castle (time 6:10). On the second floor in the northern wing, he talks to Aania at E-2 (time 6:53). She issues Quest 187, the Level 45 Sage quest. She sends him to the Rakuyo Grassland northwest of Kamiharumui to defeat a couple different types of enemies with "Iora"/Boom.

So, Davilas takes the train to Kamiharumui (time 10:04). After heading out the northern exit from town, he takes the carriage to the Gake Camp in Rakuyo Grassland (time 11:55). Both types of enemies that he needs to defeat are close to the Gake Camp.

One type of enemy is the "Madara Ichou", a yellow dancing leaf creature (time 13:44). According to the description, it is pretty clear that you have to use the spell "Iora"/Boom on the creature, and it may have to be the final attack. Anyway, after the first battle, Davilas gets the quest item, a pouch with a star on the front.

The other type of enemy to kill is the Metal Hunter (time 15:04). Again, it appears that the "Iora"/Boom spell must be used, and it might have to be the final attack. After the first battle, Davilas gets another quest item, a pouch with a crescent moon on the front. After Davilas gets both quest items, he will have to go to the Chaldea Mountain Cave in southern Chaldea Mountain.

So, Davilas zooms to Doruwaamu (time 16:28). Outside of town in Eastern Goburu Desert, he rides the carriage to the Oasis Camp in the east (time 17:00). To the east, he takes the exit to Chaldea Mountain (time 18:25). In the south of Chaldea Mountain, he enters the Chaldea Mountain Cave at D-8 (time 21:58). Hm, it may well be a shorter trip to approach the dungeon from Gatara, but that's okay.

In the Chaldea Mountain Cave, he passes through the northern door at C-1 (time 23:00). Some evil spirit seems to be harassing Sheriru. Davilas opens the two bags that he got, and they seem to give Aania some beneficial powers. The evil leaves Sheriru, but it flows into Aania! Will she be all right?

Afterwards, he goes to A-2, which is open to the sky, and zooms to Doruwaamu (time 27:32). On the second floor of the castle, he reports in to Aania at E-2 (time 28:58). She rewards him with the Sage's Coup de Grâce, Spelly Breath, which restores his MP. Quest 187 complete!

Afterwards, the fourth montage for this quest line can be viewed (time 30:46). Looks like something evil is in the offing.

Now, Davilas must get to Level 50 for the last quest in the line. So, he zooms to Sanmen Gate (time 32:29). There, he accepts a gate quest to defeat 15 Flower Zombies in the Witch Wood (time 33:06).

Afterwards, he gets himself zoomed to the camp in Rhone Forest (time 34:37). He heads northeast from there to the Witch Wood (time 37:16).

In the Witch Wood, he begins killing Flower Zombies (time 37:30).

Soon, Davilas reaches Sage Level 46 (time 39:05). He learns "Behomaraa", or Multiheal. He earns 4 skill points for a new total of 15.

After killing all fifteen Flower Zombies, Davilas zooms back to Sanmen Gate (time 55:05). Reporting in to the gate guard, he earns 130,810 experience points and orb points. Gate quest complete!

After the turn-in, Davilas jumps to Sage Level 48 (time 56:33). He earns 3 more skill points for a total of 18.

Next time, he'll kill some Mummies to reach Level 50, and then he will finish off the Sage quest line.
