Previously, Link climbed Death Mountain again. After sumo wrestling with the Goron elder Gor Coron, he gained entry to the Goron Mines. It's time now to explore this game's fiery dungeon. Be sure to have the Hylian Shield at the ready; the Ordon Shield will not withstand the flames here.

In the first hallway, look out for lava geysers. Link will need to turn off two fire jets by using the Iron Boots and stepping on the switches.

On the eastern scaffolding, a treasure chest contains a Red Rupee, worth 20 R (time 1:57).

High on the western side, the switch that turns off the fire jet is to the south.

On the northern side, Link will have to jump onto the platform to the left of the doorway and weigh it down with the Iron Boots (time 2:53). This opens the gate leading north.

Link heads through to the north (time 3:08). He has reached the hub room, a chasm with two magnetic cranes.

On the southeast platform, there is a chest with a Small Key (time 4:01).

Using the catwalks and rotating platforms, Link heads west. He goes through the locked western door (time 4:42). He is in a room with lava geysers and Dodongos. A Dodongo's only weak spot is its red tail. Beware of them breathing fire.

On the northern side, Link must pull the sliding door open by grabbing the chain (time 6:09). It will slowly slide closed again, so he must be quick about getting around and through. Time releasing it just as the lava geysers go down.

Link exits west to a water room (time 6:38). He must use the Iron Boots to sink down, then step on the switch to activate a magnetic field. While he has the Iron Boots on, he can walk along the magnetic walls at any angle.

He heads west to a room housing a Goron elder (time 7:19). Here, he meets Gor Amoto, who gives Link Key Shard #1. Link must collect all three Key Shards to get the Big Key leading to Darbus, the patriarch. The other two elders hold the other two pieces.

Behind Gor Amoto, there is a chest containing the Dungeon Map (time 9:02). On the platform behind, there is a chest containing a Red Rupee, worth 20 R (time 9:29).

To progress from Gor Amoto, Link must climb the ladder behind him. Along the way to the upper door, one of the pots contains Ooccoo (time 9:57)! She and her son will now rejoin Link to help him out.

Link continues out to the upper level of the water room (time 10:45). He will have to use the Iron Boots and defeat Fire Slugs to reach the next door.

He goes east to the upper level of the room with the sliding door (time 11:13). When he uses the Iron Boots to step on the switch ahead of him, he is pulled up to a large section of magnetic ceiling.

The magnetic ceiling will allow him to reach the northeastern corner. There, a treasure chest contains Piece of Heart #07 (time 11:58).

Clomping about on the ceiling, Link must make his way to the eastern ledge, marked by two torches. From there, he goes through the upper eastern door (time 14:26). This leads to a catwalk leading to the center platform in the main hub room.

On the center platform, Link must use the Iron Boots on the switch (time 15:37). This causes the central crane to begin rotating. It provides access to three platforms, one at the southern door, one on the eastern ledge of the center platform, and one on a platform to the north. Link rides it to the north.

The platform to the north also has a heavy switch to stomp (time 16:37). This activates the northern crane, which takes him to the northernmost platform.

Link then goes north (time 17:04). This room contains a large pond.

In the northeast of the pond, there is a chest on the bottom containing a Small Key (time 17:39). Link must sink down with the Iron Boots to get it, but be careful not to drown.

In the water, he first moves a southwestern block out of the way so he can get inside the cage. After surfacing in the cage, he finds a heavy switch on the western ledge (time 18:39). This activates a magnetic field leading to a magnetic walkway above.

Description continued in the comments.
