I decided to make a few adjustments to the party's equipment. Also, I think I understand how the fight works now. Just like Sans, you have to keep performing a certain action to progress the battle. With Sans, it was attacking. Here, it's ACTing. I get the feeling if I keep making Jevil tired, he'll eventually stop attacking so I can Pacify him. That or he won't stop attacking until I Pacify him. These are my 9th and 10th deaths against Jevil. I wonder how many times I'll die before I win. Hopefully, I can beat him before Grapple Force Rena comes out in 3 days. Wish me luck!
