There are spoilers in this video so if you haven't played the game, stop watching this video and play it. If you haven't play the first 2 games in the series (999 Nine Hours Nine Persons Nine Doors & Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward), then I recommend you play those before playing this game, as the stories of all 3 are connected. If you just want to experience the story of the first game, I recommend just getting the visual novel version, as the game itself is unforgiving when it comes to replayability (having to do the same puzzles over again).

Game is being run on an old Nintendo 3DS. There are Vita and PC versions also available and I do not know how much faster/slower those ones are compared to this version. I do know that this game running on old 3DS suffers from low graphical textures, incredibly slow framerate in many places, and no 3D support despite being on a device whose gimmick is 3D games. Loading times could be slower as well but I do not have the other versions to compare it.

This is the TRUE END for this game (the credits are the only unskippable credits to prove this). The canon end for the VLR story is in a different ending branch. This speedrun is pretty easy to do when you have the knowledge from a full playthrough. Pretty boring to do though so this will be my only run of it. Essentially, you keep everyone alive in the votes and the yellow button rooms, and open the Force Quit box using the knowledge from the morphogenetic field / SHIFTing.
