A level that is playable in both singleplayer and multiplayer modes.
Yeah, i know, the deathmatch jam is meant to be multiplayer only, but I thought it would be fun if the level was also playable on singleplayer as well, as least as a bonus.
That being said, it was an after thought, the level became so big that I wondered how it would play.
The level can be completed in 20 minutes or less and the level has no skill settings, the difficulty progress on each area you unlock. The beggining of area 3 is absurd, but doable.
Ammo is scarce, yet you can survive, so ammo management will be a thing and encouraged.
Your reward for completing the level is a bfg9000, and then, you can replay the level with previously obtained guns if desired.
On the multiplayer side of things, I think that around 6-9 players should be playable enough. That being said, yeah, I splitted the level into 3 more levels, in case anyone wants to play a specific area, or just to reduce the distance between each player.
The full level features gateways across each arena, while the individual versions only features teleporters across the other side of the level.
The singleplayer version includes exclusive areas that are not accesible on multiplayer.
It also features a ministory and a boss fight.
