ZX SPECTRUM 16/48K : The Most Powerful Modern Setup - Episode #9
Welcome to episode 9, where we, on an expanded ZX Spectrum 16k issue 2, will check out if we can run Final Fight 128k and Mighty Final Fight 128k - a remake of a NES game. We will also try to run a 128k demo.
This is a very powerful 16/48k setup - In episode 2, you can see it running a huge 512k demo with Turbo Sound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbryLXeXzkc
You can see in Episode #1 what hardware has been used for this setup. Also in Episode #1 you will find the links you need for it.

This series is for ZX Spectrum 16/48k users. We show how to upgrade to 512k + DivMMC, AY, Turbo Sound, K-Mouse and HDMI output. This computer setup will work like a ZX Spectrum 128k in USR 0 mode. What's missing, is the Video RAM from the 128k machine, so software that takes advantage of the two VRAM will not work correctly. So this upgrade will not give you a 100% working 128k machine, but it will add the missing AY music for all the 48/128k games. Many of the 128k games will work (Many ...not all), while the missing VRAM is more of a problem for the 128k demos.
Advantages compared to a standard 128k machine is that this setup can play 6 channels Turbo Sound music and run some of the huge Pentagon 256k and 512k productions. There are no on/off switch to use for the AY and Turbo Sound. It is not needed, both setups are enabled of the time.
A great upgrade and the most you can get out of a ZX Spectrum 16/48k computer. If you are a fan of the original ZX Spectrum 16/48k model and do not want to replace it with one of the later 128k models, then this is the setup for you.
