Not upto the standards of later arcade ports from ocean (Cabal/Midnight Resistance), sly spy is a reasonable effort. Missing in game music lets the port down abit, considering lots of Ports from Ocean did have music, so they have devs that knew how to push the spectrum, just not used here.
Anyway, the levels are quite short, which brings us to multiload hell. every few mins, its time for a few mins of loading (assuming your doing well). The game offers varied levels which keeps the game interesting and overall its not a bad port really.
One bug I found during play is If you run out of ammo, the game will crash. Now its not easy to run out of ammo as there are lots of pickups, but towards the end you do need to be abit more careful with your ammo. I first notice the bug when I had 1 ammo left at the end of a level. When I press fire to start next level, it automatically fires a shot, and boom , crash as your ammo counter reaches zero. I could repeat this crash by using up all ammo during play. quite annoying. -
