Friday The 13th Part IV: The Final Chapter was meant to be the concluding chapter of the series. Obviously, this didn’t happen but what did happen was some cool stuff going on behind the scenes. Let’s take a look at 10 things you didn’t know about Friday the 13th Part 4: The Final Chapter:

#1: The epic dance scene featuring Crispin Glover that we’ve all come to know and love was actually how he dances in real life at clubs. Oh, and originally, Crispin was dancing to ā€œBack in Black,ā€ by AC/DC but this was later edited out.

#2: At around 9 ½ minutes in the film, you can see the nurse’s name tag clearly, which says R. Morgan, RN. This was an homage to Robbi Morgan, the actress who played Annie in the original film.

#3: Kimberly Beck, the actress who played Trish, said that some weird things were going on in real life during production. She said that there was a man seemingly staring at her while she went for a run in a nearby park. She also said that she was receiving weird phone calls. When filming wrapped, so did all of the strange occurrences.

#4: At around 10 minutes into the film, you’ll see a workout video that Axel has been watching. The video is called Aerobicise and features Darcy DeMoss. DeMoss would later go on to play Nikki in Friday The 13th Part VI: Jason Lives.

#5: Barbara Howard who played Sara -- the shy virgin -- actually was shy in real life. For her shower sex scene she actually had a body double.

#6: The twin characters originally weren’t going to be in the movie. Camilia More actually tried out for the role of Samantha during casting. However, once the producers found out that she had a twin sister, they offered to bring them both on for the roles of Tina and Terri.

#7: Okay, I’m about to tell you something that will make Jason Voorhees even scarier. I know, hard to do; right? Well, originally, writer Barney Cohen had a scene in which Jason fondles Trish’s boobs. Thankfully, the producers didn’t like it, nor did Director, Joseph Zito. They believed that this would make Jason more human-like and less menacing. I’m going to have to disagree with them on that one.

#8: Kimberly Beck, the actress who played Trish, has said in interviews that she doesn’t like the horror genre and that she doesn’t even consider The Final Chapter to be a b-movie. Instead, she said it’s a c-movie.

#9: Originally, Tommy Jarvis, played by Corey Feldman, was going to decapitate Jason with the machete. However, this idea was eventually axed, just in case there would be a sequel. Well, whadda ya know?

#10: We all know that Ted smokes some pot in the film and is stoned when he gets killed by Jason. Well, the actor who portrayed Ted, Lawrence Monoson, thought it would be a good idea to get stoned in real life so he could really get into the role. Unfortunately, this had the exact opposite effect because he got paranoid and started to panic on-set.

So, that’s it for our list of 10 things you probably didn’t know about Friday the 13th Part IV: The Final Chapter. Did you learn anything cool? Let us know by leaving a comment below. Either way, we hope you enjoyed the video and will subscribe to our channel. Until next time, talkers.
