0:00 Intro
0:18 If you hold down left alt you’ll highlight all the interactable items on the screen. Make sure you are doing this as you travel across Faerun so you don’t miss out on any of that sweet loot. Especially materials you can use to craft with.
0:30 Don’t sleep on Alchemy, you can create healing potions and poisons. This are super powerful especially early in the game.
0:40 If someone throws or casts something at your character and it leaves an AOE mess around you, jump out of it. Don’t walk through it because that could cause further damage or make you fall prone. Also, why do all these people carry bottles of grease? Who does that?
0:57 Having a tough time reaching something in a high place? No problem. You can stack boxes and jump / climb up them. In fact you can even do this to get the high ground advantage on enemies in combat.
1:11 Speaking of combat you can throw potions at your party members to give them a quick boost. You can even throw healing potions on downed allies to bring them back up. Just don’t throw a revivify scroll on a downed companion. That will not work.
1:30 Speaking of throwing things, you can also throw weapons. Some weapons will only do one damage though. Others will do their entire weapon damage if they are designed to be thrown like spears and javelins. Look for this indicator on the weapon description to see if it will do its full damage when thrown. But if you throw a sword? Meh.
1:48 Don’t have a weapon? You can throw things that are next to you in the environment. Including people.
2:01 If you are trying to get a good luck at a weapon or item hold down T. That will bring up inspect mode and allow you to mouse over all the text that is in different colors for further inspection
2:14 Dash. Need to cover great distance in a single turn? Use your dash ability. This will use your ability point so you wont get to attack but you can still use your Bonus actions.
2:25 This is my personal favorite. If you are standing next to a ledge, give your opponent a little shove. Most of the time they’ll either take a little damage or they’ll just straight up fall to their death.
