I only ever owned a single Pokemon game in my childhood - my beloved Pokemon Ruby.
Because some of the collectibles are gated behind events which no longer take place (and which I never had the chance to attend as a kid), as well as ridiculous RNG (looking at you Mirage Island), I never could finish my cartridge properly.

Now after 18 years I finally was able to fulfill my childhood dream of doing exactly that.
I did this by dumping the save file from my cartridge using dedicated hardware and editing the save file to get the event Pokemon.
Also I was doing additional stuff to further my progress, like finding all hidden items.

The only thing missing now is getting 100 wins in the Battle Tower in a row in the Level 100 category - I will stream this in the near future.
