Thank you @blurose for the helpful comment. I'm sure that if you had seen the pre-start, the intro for that clip (link number 3) you would appreciate the context, which is, i am demonstrating the failure, but it's not a failure, it's a practice take, and in fact, the GAIN dial on that particular USB interface Microphone, was cranked way too high, so distancing my big mouth from the mic would not have helped, only lowering the dial would have. the only time the gain should be that high, is if you are trying to register, and hear, the footsteps, of an insect (like an ant).
