Word reaches HQ of a large-scale assault upon Fortaleza, in Brazil. Unlike previous alien efforts, there is no pretense of stealth or subtlety; they're deploying as much firepower as possible, as well as new, even more alien horrors, in an attempt to terrify civilian populations into submission. If we allow this to go unchecked, with panic already rising across the globe, it could mean the end of the war.
We're going in. Time to see how this new 'Carapace Armor' does in the field, and with our star soldier out on injuries, it's up to X-COM to save the people of Foraleza.
