3Welcome to DOOM II Ray Traced based on a mod released on modDb.com released on August 12th 2024. This modded build contains 2 executables for 'normal' Doom II Ray Tracing (DX.12) and the RTX Remix (Vulkan) version with Path Tracing. Let's compare the two of them, check out the performance and do some visual comparisons. Hope you find this video useful! :)
IMPORTANT: For Nvidia 50 Series users, you can not play the RTX Remix (Path Tracing) version of this game because Nvidia's recent drivers broke something. I used Nvidia's game-ready driver version 572.70, released in March 2025.
After the first Map, I forgot to turn on PBO2 tuner for my CPU to -30 Milivolts and that's why it's heating up too much, but with Path Tracing your CPU will be used more.
I used the latest version of DLSS 4, that you can download here and replace in your installation folder:
