16 Signal Regiment in Germany has revived the military driver techniques that used to be part of their basic training. The unit said that they feared these skills could be lost and is now planning to how regular military driving courses, and an annual driving competition. Soldiers will be taught how to deal with skids and to cope with icy or oily road surfaces.
