The following commands are prefixed with three letters which represent the settings of the command block. E.g IUN: = Impulse Unconditional Needs_Redstone. These prefixes need to be removed if copying the commands.
Since angled brackets are not allowed in Youtube descriptions you will have to replace "greater then" with the appropriate angled bracket. Ascii code: 62

Score Check:
IUN: scoreboard players set #maxScore myVariable -1
CUA: scoreboard players operation #maxScore myVariable greater than @a myScore
CUA: execute as @a if score @s myScore = #maxScore myVariable run tag @s add isHighest
CUA: execute as @a[tag=isHighest] run say @s Hello
Resets:
IUN: scoreboard players set @p myScore 1
IUN: scoreboard players set @p myScore 10
IUN: tag @a remove isHighest
