#18 1H Pistol Pose Held Object Location - Mixamo Character Integration Experiment - UE5 - TTToolbox
YES! Unreal Engine does not take care about ik bone retargeting and we will see unconstraint bones. Happily we used the solver from TTToolbox to constrain them for all retargeted animations. But sadly some animations, in case of ALS the overlay states, need a bit love and you have to rework the ik_gun_bone location a little but. This location is highly dependend on the hand size or retargeted pose. Again TTToolbox provides a first approach to get 1H overlay states working again. As a bonus you only need to rework the overlay state anim sequence. There the plugin already provides a very convinient way to rework the animation with a few clicks.
