1969 Barracuda 493 Stroker Build - Will it Run? (Episode 6)
Welcome to Episode 6 of the Big Block Barracuda Blitz, my countdown to getting this 1969 Plymouth Barracuda race ready.
This week, I tackle one of the biggest milestones in the build. I start with the brand-new Tanks EFI fuel tank setup, finishing out the fuel system to get this Barracuda ready to feed the 493 stroker. From there, I move on to completing the coolant lines for both the transmission and the radiator, install the driveshaft, and finally answer the biggest question of all… will it run?
At the end of this episode, the moment we have been waiting for arrives — the 493 big block stroker fires up and runs for the first time, breathing through open headers for an absolutely massive success in the build.
Follow along as I push this classic Mopar muscle car closer to the drag strip each week. From custom fabrication and wiring to final race prep, this Barracuda is being transformed into a race ready machine with a modern edge while staying true to its muscle car roots.
If you are a Mopar fan or muscle car enthusiast, make sure to subscribe and stay tuned for the next steps of this epic build series.
