Second stage from the complete 15.4mil ALL of Capcom's 19XX, using the Lightning, achieving 99% destruction rate and an S-Rank boss kill.

This stage is pretty tricky to get a 100% destruction rate on, due to the midsection with the fast moving swarm of small drones - it's very easy to miss one or two here. I think you can also lose a percent or two by missing some of the small turrets on the destroyers, and the cranes too.

In order to get an extra bomb and still pick up an S-Rank, you have to stall the Blackbird for a few seconds (picking up some more points off drones along the way). If done correctly, a bomb will appear just as you're about to destroy the boss, if you're following the correct S-Rank technique.

And regarding the S-Rank technique, the trick here is to quickly destroy all the turrets on the sides and at each end of the battleship, so that the bridge will attack you directly. When it does, sit in a safepoint near the center of the bridge section, and hit it with two lockons and rapidfire to destroy it.
