Third stage from the complete 15.4mil ALL of Capcom's 19XX, using the Lightning, achieving 100% destruction rate and an S-Rank boss kill.

Stage 3 is pretty fun to play for score, primarily because it's pretty short, and also because there are a few segments where you can miss one or two enemies - in particular the fast moving jets in the first half, and two blue tanks just before the boss. You have to know when they're coming and tag them quickly.

This boss S-Rank is probably the trickier of the bosses to do, because of the many fast attack patterns the boss has. The trick here is to destroy the central turret first, then the two smaller circular turrets that appear under the two large ones. This triggers the weakpoint, which you should hit quickly and hard. Make sure you destroy the two turrets on the rear drum as well, after you take out the weakpoint, to ensure you keep the 100% destruction bonus.
