First stage from the complete 15.4mil ALL of Capcom's 19XX, using the Lightning, achieving 100% destruction rate and an S-Rank boss kill.

For all of the ships, it's a good idea to take the Wide powerup for the whole game, as it has decent power, a good rapidfire speed, and good coverage of the screen. This will help you pick up 100% on the majority of the stages.

For this stage, however, if you want to pick up the S-Rank boss kill, and you're piloting something other than the Mosquito, you will have to switch to the Laser powerup to give yourself an extra boost.

I demonstrate the technique to pick up the S-Rank here, by first locking onto the tail and targeting the left wing compartment, then as soon as the lockon wears off, immediately send another lockon up the very center of the boss so it locks onto the cockpit, making sure I pick off some of the spawned drones to keep the 100% destruction rate.
