Let's rock and roll with a three-faction royal rumble; Federation (us) in blue, Klingons in red, and Romulans in green. Don't worry, we'll definitely get to the Borg, who as you might expect are both quite powerful, and play way different to any of the other nations. But for now, a brawl between the three more conventional, humanoid military powers should show off a lot about this mod that I love.

For instance, you can summon in a hero ship immediately as though you were playing flagship mode, and although the more obvious choice is the balanced and powerful Enterprise, I can't resist calling in The Sisko, first name Don't Fuck With. Avery Brooks is the man.

While the combat is different and, I would say, substantially improved for the most part, the strategy and economic development is roughly similar. Starfleet probably has the fastest economic and trade development, and I imagine they have great diplomacy and whatnot too, although that last part isn't, uh, really going to come up.

Good guys or no, this is still Sins of a Solar Empire, after all.
