The Le Mans quattro concept, which was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2003, was so well-received that it led to the production of the Audi R8 road car. This vehicle was introduced at the Paris Motor Show in 2006 and became available in the U.S. in 2008. Over the next three years, the brand plans to introduce more than 20 models globally, with approximately half being fully electric. By 2026, every new model from Audi is expected to be electric, and by 2033, the entire portfolio will be electrified. Audi Sport models will encompass a range of powertrains, from fully electric and hybrid to advanced combustion engines.
