In this beginners guide video tutorial I show you how the PC DayZ Horse Mod works & how to use it as a player - where the wild horses spawn and how to find them, how to calm down, attract and tame a wild horse by using an apple as bait. I show you how to claim a horse as your own by placing a saddle on the horse, and then how you can ride the DayZ horse by adding a bridle.
You'll find saddles & bridles in and around farm areas, barns, sheds and out-buildings, plus if your server has a trader, the admin owner may well have added them to the trader to buy and sell.
You control the movement of your horse with WASD, jump with space bar, gallop with shifty and walk with ctrl.
You can heal your horse with bandages and rags, and I'd expect to see many more features soon.
