Where to begin? Do you like Mega Man? Specifically Mega Man X? This game is a roguelite in the style of Mega Man X.

There are 8 robot master enemies. The first one is random and out of your control, but after finishing each stage, you have a choice of 3 ones to tackle next. You will face all 8 of them eventually, but the order isn't completely up to you.

There are a lot of items and upgrades to find (all random of course). I found myself burning through bosses at the beginning. Levels 1 through 4 usually didn't present me much trouble. It was when I got to Level 5 and beyond that the trouble really started. Basic enemies in levels and bosses all began to mix up their strategies and get a lot stronger. These changes really are a great take on the basic Mega Man formula. It doesn't allow you to just increase your strength and cruise through later levels like Mega Man X did. You really need to know your strategy and play better to servive.

Unfortunately, I hit a major brick wall along levels 7 and 8. I definitely will be playing this one a bunch, but it's going to be a hard one. This game is a lot harder than just any Mega Man (and those are definitely not easy for me already).
