I think this might become a calling card for me on streams. I, for some reason, just love to stream games that have been console published by Sometimes You. I think it's never been about "quality" but about them publishing different games that are always quite interesting.

State of Anarchy is a twin stick shooter with a leveling/upgrade mechanic as you go. Some simple pros and cons:

Pros:
- Fun sound design: It feels like a kid's imagination of how guns and shooting and getting hit would be when playing out in the yard or playground.
= Easy to get into: As someone who plays twin-stick shooters, I found this game pretty easy. As I got about 2.5 hours in, it definitely started to ramp up a little, but that might have more to do with me rushing than actual difficulty. It's a great "intro twin-stick" rather than one for veterans of the genre.
- Controls: The controls are fluid and work. Never had any complaints about them.

Cons:
- Difficulty: While a positive overall above, This low difficulty curve hurt my enjoyment eventually. Towards the end of the second half of my stream, it really began to drag.
- Grinding: The levels themselves begin to take on a deja vu feel. While the beginning has a nice flow as you go from Earth based, to alien worlds, and then a UFO level, this pattern then repeats with minimal variation. New enemies are introduced, but nothing much beyond this.

Overall, I think this game works better in short bursts. There is a lot for me to do before getting all the achievements still and I'll get there (need to get that publisher completion). I think this once again falls into something I've noticed a lot about Sometimes You published games. They're passable and mostly inoffensive. Unfortunately, they are usually not doing something new and lose their novelty pretty quickly. I think I'd still estimate that my favorite game from them has been Grab the Bottle which I streamed a month or two ago.
