Playing each of the characters in Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors for PS1 (played on a PS2 : D). I'm playing *this* version because it doesn't have the red screen flash VFX when a fighter is knocked out at the end of a match that all the other versions have, and which my eyeballs don't like. BP So this is a version of the game that I can play! : D
0:00 - why I skipped 4 KOF/SNK fighting games ;P (too easy!)
8:08 - jump where I edited out excessively white-f lashy intro
(cut 32 seconds)
9:04 - Options
10:13 - Demitri
14:49 - Jon Talbain (J.Talbain)
22:57 - Victor
29:34 - Lord Raptor (L.Raptor)
35:03 - Morrigan
47:51 - Anakaris
53:12 - Felicia
58:45 - Bishamon
1:04:08 - Rikuo
1:14:45 - Sasquatch
1:20:38 - wrap-up & what's next!
("Aulbath" is Rikuo's name in Japan, that's what I was remembering from playing the Vampire: Darkstalkers Collection on Japanese PS2!)
(The word/name "Sasquatch" comes from the Halkomelen language, spoken by First Nations peoples of the Pacific Northwest coast.)
(Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors ("Vampire: The Night Warriors" in Japan) came out in summer 1994; Super Street Fighter II Turbo came out in February, 1994. So I was off on how SFII and DS lined up! ; ) And Super Turbo and DS were both on CPSII, there were no DS games on CPSI. : P)
(This PS1 port of DS was handled by British game maker Psygnosis--originally planned for '95, it didn't make it out until '96, at which point the sequel had already appeared on the Saturn. ; )
