#274 Capcom vs. SNK Pro Bosses (4/4): Nakoruru and Morrigan playthrough.

A playthrough of the hidden sub-bosses Nakoruru and Morrigan in Capcom's Capcom vs SNK.

Both bosses are fought by achieving 60 groove points before the 4th stage in the game.
The most interesting of the hidden characters, Nakoruru and Morrigan are hidden bosses which can be fought and eventually unlocked, and make a great addition to the game.
Morrigan here is a very simple character. Her sprite has not been updated for some reason, which as I understand it is one of Capcom's in-jokes, and she only has three special moves, and a couple of super moves. It's great to have a non-street fighter character in the game, even if she is something of a shotoclone. Still, anything to break up the monotony of Capcom vs SNK 1 is always welcome.
Nakoruru, however, is just a significantly more interesting character, and a really welcome addition to the game. Her moves are significantly more interesting, with her able to dash along the ground or into the air with her dagger, able to use her pet falcon to attack and set the enemy on fire, and even able to hover from her pet falcon and use a variety of dive moves against the enemy. She's absolutely the most interesting hidden character of the game. Her redone sprite looks fantastic as well, and is incredibly appreciated considering by 2000 it was four years since she had appeared in a 2D fighting game. She also helps to bring a little more variety to SNK's side, considering it almost entirely consisted of characters from King of Fighters.
That wraps it up for bosses, however, Capcom vs SNK also contained numerous EX (alternate) forms for most of its characters, with slight variations or changes in their moves. As there is no collection of videos already on youtube detailing the extent of these change, I've taken it upon myself to have footage of all these alternate character over the next 13 videos.
