Prices have likely changed since the production of this video started. They seem to fluctuate but remain largely similar in terms of price difference.

This time around I'm comparing the BOSGAME P5 Mini PC with the Ryzen R5 6600H APU versus the GMKtec M7 Mini PC with the Ryzen R7 6850H. These two mini PCs are $100 Dollars apart in price, but what does that translate to in terms of performance and value? Well, the 6600H, being a 6 Core 12 Thread CPU with a 6 Core RDNA2 iGPU, it is closer to the M7 than what we saw with the Mini S13 vs the P5. While it has 2 fewer cores and threads, the 6 RDNA2 cores vs 12 RDNA2 cores of the 6850H is the biggest differentiator. In the 10 games tested, what became clear is that there is a pretty big jump in GPU performance, but it won't be a major game changer. we are looking at a 30% to 60% increase in performance. What this means is, in games where the P5 is barely playable, the M7 will move it to a much more playable state. But this isn't a magic fix for all the issues. as we see in Marvel Rivals and helldivers 2, the performance uplift wont always make enough of a difference. When it comes to the CPU performance, the Multicore performance is right in line with what you would expect going from a 6 core CPU to an 8 core from the same generation. so about a 20% uplift. The single core perfomance, which matters most for day to day use, is close enough to not really matter. So if you are looking for a good value every day PC, the P5 is in a really great post. But if you know your workload needs more CPU cores or you care about having better gaming performance even if it isnt a generational leap, the M7 is a great choice. Especially if you go down the barebones route on aliexpress.
