Here are all the animated exercises I produced for my Core Principles of 2D Animation class (ANIM 202), all traditionally animated on paper then shot and arranged in a program called DigiCel Flipbook.

In this video are 7 animated exercises to express different principles of animation, including squash and stretch, timing, follow-through and overlap, staging, etc.
Towards the end of the course, we were tasked with inventing a short 10-15 second narrative that we would then animate for our final. Looking through my sketchbook, I reworked an old short cartoon I came up with about an ice skater falling through the ice and it eventually became 'It's Cold Out!'
This class made me fall in love with animating on paper, and I couldn't recommend enough trying it out yourself if you're interested in animation.

Special thanks to my Professor Michelle Tessier for her guidance and critique, definitely helped improve my work. Another big thanks to all my classmates, all a blast to work with and made the in-class environment very enjoyable.
