If you kill the boss and then hit the death trigger below before getting teleported, you will once you get teleported die and then you'll like usual go back to the last checkpoint, which is inside the boss room. It's pretty difficult to actually get it correctly but this is the result of it.

But since we already killed the boss and triggered the teleport sequence to the end we are softlocked here. Even if you kill it again, it will simply dissapear and nothing will happen, leaving you stuck to restart the stage.
