The 3rd Battalion The Mercian Regiment have spent this weekend celebrating their most prestigious battle honour whilst they are deployed on operations in Afghanistan.

The Battle of Ferozeshah dates back to the 19th century during the first Sikh war. But as Ali Gibson found out, this will be the last ever time that they get to mark it as a battalion.
