The 3080 and 3090 have recently released and performance and price are actually really great! Of course there's always a catch. The 3080 has been extremely hard to purchase thanks to scalpers and bots. Now it seams there's a fault with the capacitors used on the base reference cards causing instability at high clockspeeds with GPU Boost.

We discuss whether or not we plan on upgrading to one of these new cards and whether or not this failure to launch makes us concerned about the release of the Xbox Series X and PS5.
