I had no clue there was another hidden character in this game for a while. That said, I definitely wasn't missing much. A kappah is a type of Japanese spirit. More interestingly though, a Kappah was one of the main characters in the Chinese classic Journey To The West, making this the second game (after World Heroes Perfect) with a hidden character based on that novel. Anyway, Kappah appears a weird choice for a character, and it's implied from his gameplay and his screen icon being a cucumber that he's a joke character. He's weak, slow, and not very good as a character. I don't know how I even managed to complete the game with him. I couldn't recommend playing as Kappah, but I'm glad Capcom tried something new (they weren't exactly prone to putting hidden characters in their games), even if the character in question isn't very good.
