3D Particle Effects #6.5 - Portal Second Over (Central Spiral, Compounded Visuals)
Tried to add more of a spiral effect to the center of the portal, indicating that it sucks you in and spits you out somewhere else, as well as some more layered visuals to solidify the effect more without needing a base model to shape it around. Might bring back the arch, but overall I'm pretty happy with how it's looking right now, at least from a frontal angle As you can see from a diagonal or sideways angle the spiral is actually some wind zones sucking some of the particles back into what looks like the center of the portal, when it's really pulling them back behind the portal. Might work nicely for an archway that can only be seen from the front. May experiment a little bit more, but I'm pretty happy with this effect right now.
