Time to finally paint the body. Unfortunately it didn't quite go well. I knew I'd probably get a few paint runs but I ended up with way more than I thought I would. I also discovered a thin gap that I thought I took care of but should have known better. I call it a gap rather than a crack as it's where two of the body pieces join together, not an actual crack in the plastic.

I'm going to need to sand the gap down to bare plastic, weld the parts together with my soldering iron and fill the join. I'm also going to have to sand all of the paint runs down. This will require the whole body to be painted again and I'm just about out of good weather.

On another note, I made a total mess in my garage from the spray paint dust. I didn't make a makeshift spray booth and I also sprayed facing into the garage rather than out. This coated the floor and everything else in white paint dust. A real mess.
